Seeking an energetic and inspirational part time, ordained minister, to help a small but dedicated congregation grow in our personal relationship to God and in our relationship to our neighbors here in Colonial Heights and the surrounding areas. Some of your key activities for our current congregation will be to provide a ministry of preaching and teaching the Gospel, celebrating the sacraments, pastoral care, and administration and outreach in the name of Christ. The successful candidate will be:

An experienced pastor with worship leadership skills and possessing an extensive knowledge of the Bible.
Able to minister to diverse age groups. Although our congregation is primarily older at the moment, our fervent hope is that, with your help and guidance, we will again have an age-diverse congregation.
A creative innovator who is open to new ideas. We are looking for a pastor with an effective blend of leadership, counseling, planning and communication skills to meet current and future needs of the church.
The ideal candidate should have experience taking dedicated people and leading them through change and personal growth toward a central and unifying vision of what Christ is.
